To purchase music - To order hire material

To purchase music:

giving the following details:


  1. Your name
  2. Full postal address, including postcode
  3. Telephone number (in case we need to contact you)
  4. Full titles of the works required, including ISMN Nos. and type of cover (hardback, softback)
  5. Payment, including the cost of postage and packing, by cheque or money order payable to "R. Clyde"

To order hire material:

1 When ordering music for hire, or when an estimate is required, the following particulars are necessary:

Name of Society
Name, address and phone no. of person responsible for hiring
Composer & title of work (with ISMN number, if available)
Date of performance or period of hire
Place of performance
Number of string parts required (Vln I, Vln II, Vla, Vc, Cb)
Date orchestral material required
Number of vocal scores required
Date vocal material required
Status of orchestra (i.e. amateur or professional)

2 All orders must be covered by a remittance. A pro-forma invoice will be sent for pre-payment. No material will be despatched until payment has been received. Cheques should be made payable to "R. Clyde."

3 Orchestral parts must not be mutilated or defaced. If cuts are required, paper must be carefully pinned (not pasted) over the respective passages and must be removed before the material is returned. If copies are damaged by marks or otherwise, a charge will be made for removal or renewal.

PERFORMING FEES

The charge made for the hire of copyright material does not include performing fees. Application for permission to perform must be made to the appropriate Performing Right Society.
